1. Introduction

Meet Hicham
I have a Moroccan friend I will call Hicham.
Each time I talk to him, Hicham seems to take a chance to reveal just a little more of who he really is, instead of the facade that was supposed to impress me. (*See more on facades below.)

  • What does it mean to keep up a facade?
  • Do you know people who do this?
  • Why do they do this?

Lately Hicham has felt suicidal and he describes what has been "his own personal hell."

  • Have you ever felt like this?
  • How does it feel to your body?
  • What goes on in your mind?

So Hicham asked me, how does he get out of hell?
Well, it is funny you should ask that. You can't get out of hell unless you understand what it is you are stuck in. And, no, I explained. Suicide is not an option. They would only send you back here and they would not let you cross over...

2. Sense of Loss, Seeking

It is interesting that Hicham should ask me about hell. It is my area of specialization, and he is vaguely aware of that. I thought he wasn't paying attention to any of our conversations, but he says he remembers them all. So now I am curious what he remembers. Most people know a little about their life choices, or about what it means to be human. Others, like Hicham, are clueless.

  • What does it mean to be human?
  • What does it feel like to be Human?
  • Would it be easier to live, or harder, if you could not feel?

Hicham told me once that he feels I have access to higher spiritual knowledge.. and he wants it.

I said yes, I have it. But you have to be ready. Hicham was not ready. Hicham was not done chasing tourists, and believing they had something he doesn't already have for himself.

Hicham had a sense of loss and he has begun searching. Searching is a good sign, because it leads to change. So Hicham will change now, because he is ready to change. Good for him!

  • What do you think triggers the search for meaning?
  • What are we looking for?
  • What meaning do we hope to find?

3. The Duality Game

The rules of the duality are simple:

Everything on Earth will be split into up/down, dark/light, male/female, big/small. They will follow the rules of "as above, so below." or "The drop is in the ocean, the ocean is in the drop." Each thing will have an opposite polarity. Each object will be neutral until assigned meaning by a culture.

So I asked Hicham, what is the job of Sheitan?
  • Do you know?

You know. Of course you know.
In the bible he was Lucifer, Angel of the Light. One of God's greatest angels.

Lucifer, who is an angel, was given a special job. Lucifer's job is to lead people to what is exciting, destructive, un-natural, arrogant, pompous, or discriminatory. He dares people to use harm, pain, or humiliation on others and on themselves.
  • What was it?
Humans were given free will. Sheitan's job is to give them all the free will they can handle, so they learn to find balance between dark and light. They must choose to walk the path of a light worker, without being forced.

Humans must choose to hold the light and turn away from darkness. Both sides must put up a good fight and accuse the other of being fake. Your job as a human is to determine which path to take.

In your job as a human, you will be assigned a culture, a gender, a color, a rank, and special tools or gifts to help you play the game. You will enter a time period, and your culture will teach you the rules of the game, and your assignment in the Karma game. You will either gain Good Karma points or Bad Karma points. (More on this later).

  • Free will to do what?
    Make haram, you say?
  • List the things that you consider the most haram.

4. Defining Free Will

If we have no choices, we are not free.

Exactly.
  • But what does it mean to have choices?
  • And how do you know when you are doing it, having free will?
  • What do you compare it to?
  • What kind of choices are the most tempting, where people want to cheat?
  • What is the real punishment if you cheat. Is there one?

The punishment is called karma.
Karma works like a number line with negative points on one end and positive points on the other end. Your goal is to stay above zero, and go as far to the right as you are capable of.

___/ADRIAN/___/___/-10___/___/___/-5___/___/___/0___/HICHAM/___/___/+5___/___/YOU/+10

I worked with a Tibetan Buddhist Lama once. He used to tell me, your mission on Earth, whoever you are, is about growing your Good Karma points, if you are a Light Worker. He said we were born to do this:

Practice Loving Kindness and Compassion

Meet Adrian

Meanwhile, there is a guy in America who is content and happy with his choices, despite that his negative karma points are way off to the left of our scale up there. Adrian is living the wild life, running full speed into the darkness, following Lucifer and his gang of dark angels. And he is having fun!

Adrian seems unaware of Karma Points, and he thinks his life is normal. He thinks life is about out-smarting others, and proving he can con the gullible losers of the Earth. Adrian is busy collecting Negative Karma Points. In his world, there is honor among thieves. His homeboys are family, but in fact, Adrian trusts nobody. His God is Sheitan. He believes he is in charge of his life, and his job is to get his share.

Adrian, our Mexican-American example, does Meth (methamphetamines, Ecstasy, Crack cocaine) and marijuana, and he gets high. It feels free. Adrian is free. He sleeps with all the pretty women he can. He sells dope out of his house.
He has plenty of cash, beer, and friends. Life is good.

  • Can you name some consequences of doing drugs, living to sell drugs, or trafficking drugs?
  • Money
  • friends
  • home life
  • Safety
  • Social and societal adaptation

  • Can you imagine Adrian's state of mind, how he needs to think and function, to protect himself from people or the law?

  • paranoia
  • sense of false superiority
  • willingness to hurt or kill others

5. Choices and State of Being

It is a trade-off, and every choice has consequences. We call this karma.

  • This for that.
  • This instead of that.
  • Left or right.
  • Friend or Foe.
  • Selfish and self serving, or not.
  • Healthy or not.

We make these choices every day, all day long. We pick our team and choose our sides. Lucifer gave us duality for a reason. We are grateful for choices. Learning discernment is an important skill in deciding what has value in life. It is a skill all humans need to learn.

Sheitan caused the creation of prejudice, discrimination, and facades
So that you could be free...
_____________________________

Adrian makes choices about how he lives, what he wants to touch, and who he befriends.

  • Adrian can't tell you that he has not been in charge, or that he had no choices.
  • Adrian has been determining his State of Being for years, with each choice and belief, each thought.
  • When Adrian changes his circumstances, he also effects his State of Being.
  • Adrian can change how he feels about himself by altering his perspective any time he chooses.
  • If Adrian doesn't want to ask for help, no spirit guides or angels will come. It is his choice.
  • Adrian has free will.

It is your heaven or hell. You create it, you live it.

We exist in a state of being that we create through our choices. Circumstances are illusion- they are temporary, they can change- but it is our beliefs that keep us stuck in whatever we believe is our daily reality. State of being echoes our thoughts and choices.

Circumstances don't matter, only state of being matters

  • We make us feel free
  • We write our book.
  • We make our story- it is unique to the human condition.
  • We become individuals.
  • We determine our state of being by where we stand, who we interact with, what we eat, and where we lay down.

Helping Hicham to Change State of Being

Adrian  is lost, but Hicham is less lost, because Hicham is ready to change. Hicham is seeking change. Hicham is basically a good person, he just needs a sense of direction.

Hicham is a Muslim. Despite what he was taught, Hicham feels he is in "hell." Hicham wants to die. But is his problem with circumstance or a state of being, and can Hicham change his state of being?

Hicham actually forgot he has two angels who sit on his shoulders and write that book. The book of our life, regardless of religion, but that all Muslims are taught about. Left and right sides, two angels sit there on our shoulders. Did Hicham forget about those angels? Or did he just forget to ask them for help?

________________________________________________________

For some praying Muslims, asking for help means saying it 5 times a day, so when Muslims don't pray, they forget what prayer was all about and what the purpose was. In other traditions, you can also meditate to communicate with your angels, and they are still there. It is not about religion at all. It is about asking for help. Do we forget to ask? Or do we forget that they are there to be asked?

In the case of Adrian, he would not ask; Adrian thinks he can do life with no help from God. Adrian is not ready to ask for help, so we will only focus on Hicham for now.

In Islam, each prayer ends by thanking those two angels for their hard work, and wishing them peace and the blessings of God, for their hard efforts. Gratitude is a good thing, it keeps us aware.

Away from Darkness

I am not advocating prayer or ritual for Hicham, it is not for everybody. But all of us can at least acknowledge that we feel like this or that, based on choices we make and places we put ourselves

Hicham can ask for help at any time...and so could Adrian. But both Adrian and Hicham have to learn to put away their facades and choose a path of light.

6. Sacred Choices, Prayer/Meditation

In a quiet place,  sit and talk to your angels. Think about things that are sacred. Put the word sacred back into your life. Make a sacred spot for yourself. Own sacred things that you use for prayer or meditation, like candles or an altar to display pictures of loved ones and deceased relatives. Pray over water or stones to make them sacred items for healing purposes. Plant sacred trees. Have sacred rituals. Create sacred events. Learn to celebrate! Invite angels to stay in your home. Make your home a sacred space.

  • Acknowledge  that you are a being, and acknowledge your beingness
  • Acknowledge that you have a human body. The body is sacred. You are capable of moving it around, feeding it, and dressing it.
  • Acknowledge that you are in charge of that body and what it touches. Touch is sacred. *The body stores memory of everything or person you touch. Touch permanently alters your body. You can collect other people's energy.
  • Ask for help with your daily decisions. Having a great day is sacred.
  • Show gratitude for help you have already been given. Abundance is sacred.
  • Thank Angels, Your Guides, and God/Allah.Helpers are sacred.
  • State all the good things that happened to you today. Say thank you. Humility is sacred.

"As Salam aleikum wa rahmatuallah
"Peace to you, and the blessings of God."

  • In Islam, Each prayer ends by thanking those angels.
  • Do we all recognize this from Islam?
  • For what reason do we thank the angels?
  • Why two angels and not just one?
  • What are they looking for that is categorized by needing two of them?
  • Do you think the duality game may be the reason for two angels?

God assigned Lucifer the job of helping humans to make choices. Lucifer made a dark side for everything.

The purpose was to help humans feel unique, alone, and independent.  Lucifer cut us off from the light, to help us see what alone-ness can be like. Lucifer is an angel. It is us that make the choices. He did what God asked, and he answers to God.

We are all sparks of light and we could have all been identical. Where is the fun in that? So, by giving us differences, we have different abilities. And by labeling them with false (superior or inferior) differences,  Lucifer created prejudice and discrimination.

Prejudice is the ability to pre-judge.

By itself, the concept of prejudice is neutral, because all symbols are neutral. Lucifer/Sheitan decided to use the differences to create animosity and feelings of false superiority.
Thus, anything that can be contrasted (Black people, White people) can be caused to play with duality, values, or perspective. If you feel inferior because you see favoritism of one group over another, that is the act of Sheitan. Understand that all symbols are neutral. It is your job to remain neutral and to treat them all the same way.

*With duality concepts, be aware of the value of each side and understand it's game. Beware!

All differences can be chosen based on what is sacred, or based on vanity.

"Do not use God's name In vain."

When you are un-sure, ask angels to guide you. Talk to them silently. They will come...

In vanity, Sheitan has power.
The use of a facade is intended to make you look bigger or better than you really are.
A false value is put on facades, thanks to Sheitan.

The idea here is that you establish higher order or lower order (fake) differences, and you put GOD lower than the fake thing that now holds more value than God did.

____________

Living a Facade Life Style

In this example, the man on the right has chosen love over LOVE, and WHITE over DARK skin, believing he was missing out on something. In the process, he threw away what was sacred in favor of vanity. His marriage was sacred...

_____________

Why Do People Keep Up a Facade?

  •  A false face or false front is worn by people who fear being exposed.
  •  They have an ulterior motive
  • They are leading a dual life
  • They are using you
  • They fear exposure, or that you will discover who they really are
  • They are afraid to put down the facade for fear they will look too weak
  • They use the facade to represent false power or authority
  • They want to seem bigger or meaner than they really are
  • They fear intimacy or deep, meaningful connection
  • They may have had family members who abused them and they fear being close
  • They use the facade to guard them from emotional hurt

People who keep up a facade do not tell you who they really are, because they probably don't think you will accept their flaws. They want to appear more important than they are. It is false and fake.

Using a facade to fake importance is one example of haram thinking.

To live two lives is complicated and you eventually get caught.
When you turn against the light, and hold the darker thing as more important, that is called false God. Many people confuse the facade of something for the real things that they hide, out of vanity (using it in vain):
  • Money is more valuable than love
  • Sex is more valuable than Making Love with somebody you Love
  • Beautiful looks are more important than health
  • Power Jobs are more valuable than lesser paying jobs that help or heal
  • Alcohol is more valuable than healthier drinks like orange juice or milk
  • Large Steaks and complex foods are more valuable than vegetables or less complex foods
  • Giant mansions are more valuable than smaller more modest homes
  • Having a maid or laborer is more valuable than using your own hands to manifest change
  • Promises and vows are not serious
  • Nothing is sacred. Everything can be traded, broken, or abandoned for the more exciting, fresh, or new things.
  • Constantly chasing what is novel, appears exciting, or what stimulates the body.

Are angels real?

The photograph below is a still from a video camera. The 6:00 News shows video of the figure of an angel, with wings, who is seen walking into the room of an elderly man who is sick and praying. You can make out the shape of the wings and the size of the figure who is seen on video camera walking down the hallway of the hospice.

7. Paradigm shifting within Duality

When you come to an intersection and you must turn left or right, this is duality. You can't do both.
One road leads to the mountains, another leads to the ocean. Both choices are basically neutral, but humans like to assign meaning to them. All symbols are neutral, but you may come from a culture that assigns automatic mass-consciousness meanings to them. For example, give some meanings to these two symbols:

  • A mountain
______________
______________
______________
  • An Ocean
______________
______________
______________

Meaning and Symbolism

Everything in life has been imbued with meanings that you give to them.
Meanings can change at will, but only if you are conscious that you can change them. You will charge them with energy and hang on to that meaning, whatever it is, until your paradigm shifts and your understanding changes. Paradigm means your perspective, track, road, or view.

Think again about the fact that you are the one who is assigning meanings to them. If you let Sheitan assign the meanings for you, you will have trouble. There will be times when you have not two choices, but 10 or 20!
If you are thinking ahead, you will ask your guides and angels to help you choose the one with highest value to your well being!

Mass-Consciousness Meanings and Paradigm Shifting
  • Is assigning meaning to all my objects and symbols an example of  free will?
  • Did anybody force me to decide if the ocean is bad or the mountain is good?
  • Am I ok with questioning the mass-consciousness meanings and replacing them with what I value instead?
Examples of Mass-Consciousness Symbolism
Red is hot, blue is cold
Red means stop, green means go
Male means strong, female means weak
White means wisdom, Black means evil
We are all Muslim and we believe _____
Women are supposed to do ______
Men are entitled to _____________
All people should get married and have _____children, especially boys?
People usually do___when they get married
In this country women wear_________and men wear_____
We wear a ____for a good luck charm

_________________________________________________

How a Paradigm Shifts

Positive Paradigm, Example A:
My lovely girlfriend Jane gave me a red rose.
Red roses are good
She is Japanese.
Red rose=happy
Japanese people=good,
Rose and Japanese=lovely

Negative Paradigm, Example B:
I broke up with Jane.
Jane was a bitch.
All Janes must be bitches.
Red rose=Bitch.
Stupid women= Hurt.
Jane left me= I hate red roses.
Red hurts.
Roses hurt.
Japanese people=dumb.
They leave.
They don't stay.
They wander away.
Be careful. Bad.
Japanese women can be bad. Roses are bad.

This is an example of what we call a paradigm switch. The symbols have taken new meanings and they are emotionally charged with colors.
  • Meaning is first
  • Emotional reaction to it is second
  • A choice of direction that we walk as a result of our belief and our emotion is third.
  •
(Thought) Meaning...Emotion...Reaction

Don't ever tell anybody you don't know what you believe. Every object in your life is charged with meaning that you put there.

Maybe you borrowed the definitions and did not question them.
Maybe you learned to smoke because your friends did, and you did not question the consequences. But there is a consequence for each choice, and there is an emotional charge on each symbol.

  • Who determines what a symbol means to you in your life?
  • Is it possible to change the emotional charge of a symbol?
  • Who determines if an object is good or bad?

8. Belief Starts as Thoughts

If I choose to go left instead of right, I have attributed meaning to that direction.  It all starts as thoughts in my head. Nothing happens unless it is thought first.

How to Manifest Reality into reality

Let's say you are hungry. You think of an apple? No, not an apple. You don't feel like fruit.
Let's think about bread. No, you want something hot. It is cold today.

Let's think about soup. Ah, yes, perfect. You go get the soup. It is cold. You decide to heat it up. You put it in the blue bowl, not the black one. You get the large spoon, not the smaller one.
Now you are having the soup. You think it needs some salt. You go get salt. You put salt on it.

  • Do all people think first before they make a choice?
  • Do all people have the same ability to think first and then act?
  • Is feeding yourself an action that is basic to all humans?
  • Is there joy in it?
  • Was this an example of free will?
  • Did you make choices?
  • Did the choices have consequences?
  • Are you happy with the consequences?
  • Would you do it again?
  • Was it pleasurable?

 9. Pleasure, Pain, and your Highest Excitement

We will usually walk it the direction of our highest excitement at any given moment. We walk towards pleasure, and away from pain. This is a basic human reaction.

In this example, charge each action with an emotional quality. Say out loud if it is Pleasure or Pain to you:
Going to dentist

Taking a shower
Reading a book about taxes and finances
Reading a book of poetry
Reading a book about how to fix your toilet and pipes
Getting a massage
Smoking a cigarette
Running a mile on a cool day

It is ok if you don't all agree. We won't all agree.

Running can be good if you like to run and have long legs, or bad if you have sore feet or short legs. It is called "relative" experience. What is relative to you is not relative to me.

We have different body types and this makes us take different choices based on what is pleasure or pain for us. And what is excitement for you might be boring for me. We process information differently.
You may love to read, and another person may fall asleep when they read. Again, choices are neutral, You charge them with meaning.

However, people will always walk towards what is exciting or pleasurable to them, and they will walk away from pain.

True or false?
  • Running is neutral but it can be bad for one person and good for another
  • We always walk towards what hurts us because it is good for us
  • We always make choices about good and bad in all that we do
  • We always choose our highest excitement and walk away from what we fear

Hicham's "Hell"

Hicham states that his girlfriend left him, he has no job, and he wants to die.

  • What areas of Hicham's life have been labeled negative?
  • What can Hicham do to change his labels and examine his belief system?
  • Is dying Hicham's best option for learning about duality and being human?
How can Hicham find his highest excitement?
How can Hicham improve his decisions?

______________________________

10. History, Movement, and Consequences

You Vote with Your Feet

Assuming you know what you fear, we are off to a great start. Some people can remember why they fear something, others have forgotten. But with each choice, you vote with your feet.

You can't say you did not know. If you followed your highest excitement and it took you there, then there is a reason. You walked yourself over there. Why?

Common Phrases when confronting consequences:
  • I didn't know. (So you were curious and that was exciting?)
  • My friends took me there. (You trusted like minds to lead you in safe ways)
  • I had to make a choice and I didn't have enough time.
  • The other direction was familiar, I already knew that way
  • I wanted to try something different

Yes, there will be consequences for each action, but your reaction to each action is the lesson in being human. If the action was neutral, then I have gained experience about being human. If I don't like that way, I stop going there.

 You Vote with Your Feet

But being human is not so easy because we like to assign meaning, and then we pin them on other people! We take our meanings and make other people wear them, like it or not. Are you aware when people are doing this to you? It is called "throwing cords." They plant a meaning on you and expect you to agree, without questioning it. Maybe you trust them and find out later on that you did not have the same meaning attached to the symbol. When you find out they did not make the same choice you would have made, maybe you become upset?

  • I did not know what a rave was, but I know now. Everybody was smoking marijuana and I did not feel comfortable there.
  • I did not know what a Penticostal was, but now I know. When they started to wave their hands, I felt uncomfortable. I wanted to leave.
  • I did not know what a watermelon party was. But when they put the straws in the watermelon and made me suck the drink out, that was silly, but fun. I would do it again.
  • I did not know what a cigar tastes like so I tried it. It made me cough.
  • I did not know what a pot brownie was so i ate it. It made me dizzy and I threw up. I was anxious for an hour and I felt paranoid. I could not make it stop.
  • I did not know if I would like him until we hugged. He was so warm, my whole body sank into him. I have never felt so loved.

11. Reverse Karma by Refusing to Acknowledge Guilt and Blame

Blame and guilt are human reactions to making mistakes. We torment ourselves, thanks to Lucifer's polarity definitions. When we make a mistake, it happened because we did not know ahead of time what an outcome would be. We feel emotion, and we apply meaning to our symbols..

We put the meanings on each Symbol by ourselves

So, what if it is all just experience and it is all neutral. Can we change the vibration from negative to positive?
What if one of the jobs of Sheitan was to create guilt and blame so that you doubt your own mind?
One of the best things to can do for yourself is to erase these two words from your vocabulary and deem experiences neutral. Then assign meanings that you choose, not  tags and cords that are stuck to you, that sap your energy. Guilt and blame are not productive once you understand cause and effect.

Change the cause= change reality.

The cause is your understanding and your emotional response to it.

12.  Reverse Karma by Making it a Game

Keep telling yourself it is just a game!

Stop taking it all so seriously. None of this is real. It is all illusion, manifested for your growth. All of this is toys, things, symbols. It is all meaningless. YOU  supply the meaning.
So, keep it light, have the heart of a child. Even as you fall down and stand back up, do not lose your sense of wonder, adventure, and curiosity.
You are an actor on a stage. Your part in the play will change many times. You will be the cocoon, the worm, the butterfly, and the egg. Do not get stuck in the part you are playing. Play many roles, then move on when it is no longer your highest excitement...Make it a game. Keep it that way. Leave the pompous and arrogant facade for some other unaware actor.

As we grow, so do our self concepts. We can re-charge (energy into objects, symbols) objects and create paradigm shifts hundreds of times a day, as our beliefs change.

To change is human. To create is to have the power of God, who gave us the ability to create from thought. Since all creation begins as a thought, if we change our thoughts, we change our reality, and what we believe will change.

That means we will manifest a different reality. Change is constant and it makes us powerful. Even when you don't think you have choices, you do. Even not choosing is a choice. When Adrian does not care, or he does not ask for help, he is still making a choice.

What choices does Adrian have in the game?

Adrian is in a room that is almost empty. Like every good chess player knows, there are always moves. We always have something to do to keep us moving:
  • He can move the chair
  • He can reposition the carpet
  • He can mop the floor
  • He can dust off the table
  • He can turn the tv on or off
  • He can change channels
  • He can do yoga on the floor
  • He can draw the table
  • He can write a poem
  • He can draw the sky outside
  • He can take notes on the weather
  • He can interior decorate
  • he can write song lyrics about this room and how he feels today
Is change still able to happen with such limited choices?
Which is more important, temporary circumstances or to be a creator?

Circumstances don't matter, only state of being matters

13. Reverse Karma by applying Inspiration and Imagination to your Human Life

Be the Change You Want to See

State of being matters more
Circumstances are temporary and can change
Artists are self-inspired- but they also pray for inspiration.
Artists can take almost nothing and write a song about it.
A musician can write 10 songs about this room and what it means to him.
The choices of what to do are endless, because you have imagination.
The truth is,

We Are All Artists

Image-Nation: a nation of magicians. Life is magical. It is what you say it is. You have the power to create. What is the room to you?

Boring people lead boring lives

Inspiration
To inspire comes from the word inspiritu, "Of the spirit."  All of us have spirit guides who help us to become inspired. And if you are really stuck, the angels are right there to help you to get the attention of your guides. When you have a dilemma, a new guide who is an expert in that area might come to help you solve your dilemma, but because you have free will you have to ask for help.

  • All humans have spirit guides.
  • All humans can reach for inspiration.
  • All humans have the magical ability to create from thoughts.
  • You have to ask for help

14. Reverse Karma by Acknowledging Blessings and Showing Gratitude

You have so much power and free will that you can do anything you want. One way to expand your positive energy is to share, give, donate, volunteer, or help others.
  • Help others
  • Give to the poor
  • Do favors
  • Volunteer
  • Help when you are not asked

God loves you so much that your free will includes forgetting about God, or angels, or spirit guides. You can believe you are very, very alone. They will honor that. They won't leave you, but you are free to believe they did. Reality is what it is.

  • There is Real Reality with a big R (R), with two angels writing a book about your every move, and spirit guides all staring at you and giving constant suggestions.
  • And there is illusion reality with a small r (r), which is made of temporary constructs which teach you about power, intention, free will, and creativity.

It is not meant as a punishment. It is all neutral. You will get out of reality/Reality what you put into it. It is your choice if you learn or not. God is love and remains neutral. Your path is your own. Any path is neutral. All paths lead to creativity. All paths have consequences. If your path is filled with blessings, do you acknowledge this?

"Thank you God. Thank you angels. Thank you Spirit Guides for helping me."

Inhale Blessings, Exhale Gratitude

Those of us who are light-workers call our path walking in the light, or becoming en-light-ened.
  • When you walk towards love (God), you embrace light.
  • When you create things that bring pain, or hurt, or you hurt others, you walk away from God, Love and Light. That is the domain of Sheitan and his dark angels who act to teach you what is not of God. They reign over darkness and without them, how can we compare or have choices?
  • This is the Duality Game. Like playing checkers, we jump over dark spots and try to land on light ones. But sometimes we also land on dark ones, to see what will happen. We stop to see what it feels like. Then we store those feelings, and the emotions they produce, as part of our experiences of being human.
Thought...Action...Emotion...Experience

15. Reverse Karma through Empathy

There is emotion (e) and there is higher Emotion (E). The is love (l) and there is higher Love (L).

For an enlightened being who knows that none of us want to choose pain or suffering, we develop empathy.
Empathy comes with experience, when we understand what pain is. Feeling tired or worn out has emotion to it (e), but feeling Ecstatic and in touch with God is (E) Emotion of a higher level.
One type of emotion feels mundane, the other feels profound. One feels heavy, the other feels light, buoyant. Higher Emotions will always be filled with more LIGHT than lower emotions. It is important to gauge what we feel during the day, to tell us about the choices we are making.
This is the energy that feeds our body and keeps us healthy.

EMOTION and emotion

  • People who stay in emotion will get sick.
  • Those who look for higher Emotion will stay healthy.

The immune systems responds to emotion and Emotion.

Empathy is the ability to put yourself in the shoes of another person and feel their pain.
It may be based on telepathy + Emotion ("Telempathy"), and combined with human experience.

"I know how you feel, that happened to me."

Empathic Responses
You are an expert on human emotion because you are human. Angels are not human and they know only love. They do not have to endure darkness or pain. You are a best judge of what your friends need.

Here are typical empathic responses (E):
  • Pat their back
  • Offer them coffee
  • Give them a hug
  • Offer to play them soothing music
  • Ask if they want some food
  • Talk about something positive to change their mood
  • Offer advice on what to do next time
  • Offer to help them clean up, change something, shift the energy

Blame and Guilt ego-based (e)motional Responses

Here are blame and guilt responses (e) that do not help this person:
  • Criticize their mistakes
  • Tell them they are an idiot
  • Laugh
  • Tell them it will get worse
  • Tell them they should have known
  • Remind them how bad it can get

16. Reversing Karma Through Alignment with Source

Meeting Adrian

You stop at a gas station. Adrian is the cashier.
Adrian helps you, and you start a conversation.
You can see English is not his first language, so you agree to help Adrian compose a letter.
Later on,  you are told to help him write a letter to the court. Adrian wants to address his child support problems. Adrian mentions that he was arrested, and he was in jail. You ask what he was arrested for....

The previous words already tell a story of potential negative karma. The are called "red flags" because there is a warning here that this person might have problems with karma:
court
problems
arrested
jail

What goes on in your mind as you hear each red flag in the following story?

Well, I was coming back from Mexico and I had a gun in my car. It was wrapped in a cloth and I wanted to hide the gun so I put the gun my car's back tail light. Nobody can find the gun there, right? So when I saw weapon-sniffing dogs at the border, it doesn't do any good to lie. The dog will smell the gun because the gun was fired and I forgot to clean the gun first. So I had to tell police about the gun and that is when they arrested me. Now I have probation officers visiting me at home and at work. They think I am not a good fit for my children. They can't tell me what to do with my children! My children need me.

Is Adrian so far out of alignment from source that he scares you?

You are gasping? You can't believe Adrian made such choices? Adrian is disconnected from the light and out of alignment with source. You feel in your gut that you don't want to endorse Adrian's choices.

Do you feel uncomfortable?
Do you wonder why he fired the gun, or at whom?
Do you wonder why he owns a gun and what he was protecting?
Do you wonder if maybe he has another gun now, and he would use it on somebody?
Do you think maybe if he thinks he needs a gun his head is not right?
Do you wonder if it involves drugs or the law and you are not getting the full story?
Do you want to keep on being his friend?
Do you Still want to help him write his letter?
Do you want to walk away?
Do you owe him a long story to bring him up to date on your view of reality, first?
Does it matter if he sees life a different way, or can you live with the fact that he doesn't see life as you do? Should you feel guilty because you want to walk away and you don't feel safe?

Walk away. It's ok. You are free to leave.

17. Reverse Karma though Growth Awareness

Humans are at different stages of growth spiritually. There is no fault if you do not feel comfortable and need to come up with any excuse that will not offend Adrian. Some people are stuck and don't want to acknowledge this. If you remind him, Adrian will perceive you as arrogant, nosy, prying. Adrian may become offended. Adrian is not ready to hear, so there is nothing to say to him.

You don't need to put your self in harm's way by saying "You know Adrian, you scare me. I don't want to do this any more. I don't want to know somebody who is constantly visited by probation officers. That is not my reality."

You may, in fact, have 200 reasons why you do not want to continue talking to Adrian. So it is not lying to give another reason at hand.
Not all people are enlightened or understand why they walk towards pain.
It is not your job to help Adrian identify his symbols and their meanings.
It is not your job to help Adrian find the light.
Adrian has free will, just like you do.

Dont blame, don't judge.

If you do not feel comfortable, it is your right to walk away.
You have free will too!

"Adrian I cant continue to do this right now. Something came up. My daughter has kidney stones and she needs my attention right now."

Don't add verbal  harm to the situation, just walk away quietly. You did not make his choices, and you are not accountable for them. Let it go. Just walk away.

18. Reversing Karma through Accountability

All humans are held accountable for how they label symbols, the meanings they use, and how those meanings cause them to harm other living beings. This means harming plants, animals, the air, the water, the Earth, animals, humans, or aliens.
Accountability means knowing why you did something. You know you are walking away because Adrian is out of alignment with himself, and with you. He does not have your best interests in mind. There is no equity in this relationship. You are not working on the same karmic goals. Adrian does not understand accountability.
When you walk away from Adrian because you do not agree with his destructive life style, you are showing that you are accountable for the company you keep, and the choices they make. You disagree with those choices. You choose not to help. You are holding yourself accountable for your own choices and beliefs. This is Good Karma.

Accountability for Living Things
When we harm plants_____________get hurt
When we harm _______________animals gets hurt
When we harm the air___________________gets hurt
When we harm the Earth______________ get hurt
When we harm the atmosphere into space, ______________get hurt
If I harm another human_______________ will get hurt.

Reversing Karma through Alignment with Mother Earth

We are borrowing these things. We do not own them. They are gifts. We are all hurt by selfishness and service-to-self. The objects of creation resonate with the same vibration as God, and they are all mirrors of love and innocence. All objects have consciousness and they are part of creation.

  • When we take their innocence, we lose ours.
  • When you hurt something outside of yourself YOU get hurt.
  • When you fail to see that what is outside you is also inside you, you detach yourself from your own power, which is Love / GOD. You walk away from God, into darkness.

You walk away all by yourself. The farther away you walk, the more negative vibration you create (karma), and you will have to take steps to reverse this process.

Reverse Separation from Mother Earth

One way to reverse separation from God is to become aligned with Nature again.

  • Walk in a forest
  • Go barefoot on the Earth
  • Plant flowers and vegetables
  • Go bird watching
  • Study science and biology
  • Sit in water, run in rain, swim in a river, take a shower
  • Watch fish swim
  • Play with animals, ride a camel or horse
  • Refuse to hunt or hurt animals
  • Eat less meat and more vegetables
  • Watch a camp fire
  • Smudge your house with white sage
  • Burn incense
  • Draw and sculpt animals
  • Make things from wood, stone, feathers and other natural elements.

19. Reversing Karma Through Apologies

  • What did you do to turn you away from the light?
  • How did you drop your vibration and alienate yourself from perfect creation and your own joyful power?
  • How did you bargain to exchange Emotion for emotion?
  • How did you trade Love for love?
To reverse this, you simply acknowledge that you caused harm.

I'm sorry...
  • I did not realize I was hurting you when I did that
  • I learned from that. I will not do it again
  • I am afraid I will lose you, and I don't want to give up what I love for a stupid mistake
  • I thought it would be fun, but I hurt you in the process

20. Reversing Karma through Humility

To be humble may seem so easy, but it is not. If we spend a lot of time pretending nobody notices, it can be hard on the ego to acknowledge fault. Yet everybody chooses, and they all make mistakes. Awareness of a choice may come after the choice is made, not always before.

I thought about leaving you, but now I realize that you keep me from doing stupid stuff like this. I really need you in my life. I choose to be with you and not be alone.

This man came home to find his girlfriend upset because he went to a party without her.

Beware! Lucifer has no humility...
Adrian is a real person! When I decided not to help Adrian write his letter, he made mean comments about how "selfish" I am. Because of Lucifer's service-to-self orientation, Adrian sees only what he wants and needs, not his own karma. Adrian's comments only cause him more karma, because now Adrian is verbally abusing others as well, so it is important not to respond.

Adrian has no remorse and will only find ways to twist up logic and prove he is right. Lucifer makes people like Adrian believe they can use their facade to fool people with charm and wit. People like Adrian really believe that others are gullible fools who deserve to be used.

21. Reversing Karma by being Authentic

Humans have the choice to show all their flaws and tell people what they don't know...Try it! Tell people how you really feel. Tell them what you really do. Tell them what you were thinking when you made a decision.

  • I don't understand your religion. Why do you believe you can come back as an animal?
  • I don't know about plumbing, so I hired a plumber. I don't want to touch my dirty pipes.
  • I thought you might want somebody taller so I wore those shoes just for you.
  • I am sorry you don't like my hair. I was trying something different and it works for me.
  • It's too bad you think you need a smaller woman. I cant' be what I am not. I am happy the way I am.

22. Reversing Karma by Compromise

Humans must compromise.

Some children had parents who fight.
They did not see healthy role models.
With a healthy role model:
  •  you discuss
  • you attempt to resolve
  • you take a stand
  • Maybe you compromise
  • maybe you choose not to compromise
  • you try to keep the peace
  • you try to make the other person feel comfortable and supported
  • you accept differences
  • you keep your calm
  • you play the game of life fairly, without cheating, controlling, or intimidation
  • you show respect
  • you keep a sense of humor, keep it light
  • you show gratitude and awareness

  • I hate when he uses the saw. It is too loud. So he says he will tell me first so I can go take a walk.
  • I don't like that he smokes, so he says he can chew gum before he comes over.
  • I am uncomfortable when she says Jesus, so she says she can say "God" instead.
  • I hate wasabi on my food. It is gross. So I asked her not to put it on my plate. She gives me mayonaise instead. I adore her for her kindness. She always remembers!
  • He can wear shoes in the kitchen. but he if comes in the living room he has to take them off.
  • We didn't want them to use our well. But we were happy to help them dig a new one for themselves.

Reversing Karma Through Compassion

Good will and compromise make peace, cause friendship, and promote understanding of differences. There is a chance to be helpful, compassionate, and tolerant. These acts are recorded by your angels!

Helpful: got salt for a lady she doesn't know, picked up keys for a man, took a friend to the store

Compassionate: Hugged a crying baby, told a lady her dress looks nice, let a woman go first at stop light

Tolerant: Told a Muslim woman her scarf is pretty, helped a Buddist man wear his prayer beads, told a young woman her tattoo is beautiful, complimented a woman on her hair and makeup.

There are endless ways to notice what is beautiful and respond positively. The vibration is uplifted by your kindness. You and the other person can feel that vibration, and it can cause smiling or giggling. Sometimes just smiling is enough to change the energy in a room. Every thought counts. Thoughts are things!

Thoughts are Things

23. Reverse Karma by Controlling What You Manifest

Nobody has perfect control, but everybody has control.
Nobody has the power of God, but we share power with God

You have the ability to determine your highest excitement.

Answer the following questions out loud, to a partner:

  1. What are you passionate about? Are you doing it?
  2. What causes you joy? Are you able to do it?
  3. What did you succeed in doing today? Did you do it right?
  4. What goals have you set for tomorrow when you wake up? And then? And then? And then?
  5. How will you know you succeeded?
  6. Did you practice compassion, humility, or tolerance this week?
